All bedrooms have their own balconies with breathtaking views of rustic olive groves sweeping down to the Ionian sea. Due to its west facing position magnificent sunsets are the norm, but the mountain and sea views are always spectacular. The mountain trails are within an easy climb of the villa and the unspoilt beaches start within a 5 minute drive northwards, rocky coves for exploration 5 minutes southwards.

The villa is fully equipped with all modern amenities as well as many extras. The 502m private swimming pool is accompanied by extremely spacious terraces ideal for sunbathing, socialising and generally taking it easy.

Whilst enjoying a secluded position on the hillside one can easily walk to either of two villages and the main town of Kyparissia is only a short drive (4 kilometres) away.

Villa Kitrini is located on the outskirts of the village of Stasio, offering a taverna/kafeneon. The village of Armeni is also within walking distance and has a greater choice of tavernas, cafes and a shop selling basic provisions.

The area is rich in rustic charm and is a haven for those interested in nature and walking. The mountain range behind the house is easily accessible on foot and has a network of cart tracks, paths and goat tracks taking you to secluded churches and panoramic views of the south west Peloponnese. The Neda river with it’s valley walks is also a short drive away.

The site of Ancient Olympia (the birthplace of the Olympic games) is less than an hour’s drive away as are many other ancient sites and monuments. Other major sites including Mystra, Mycenie, Epidavros, Ancient Corinth, Nafplio, Monemvasia, Lousios Gorge and Vouraikos gorge are all a day trip away.

The main town of Kyparissia is 4 Kilometres away and provides all the amenities of a modern Greek town including bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and clubs. The town is located around a large traditional main platea (square) overlooked by the old town and the rambling Byzantine-Frankish Kyparissia castle. The castle has free entry and provides panoramic views over the town and the large gulf of Kyparissiakos. The town also benefits from it’s own large sandy beach with a handful of bars, restaurants and clubs.

From Kyparissia, the sandy beach extends approximately 60 Kilometres around the gulf of Kyparissiakos to the town of Pyrgos. This unspoilt coastline has numerous access points to the sea with various tavernas providing beachfront refreshments.

The area is not commercialised and has not been overdeveloped. Most beaches are serviced by one or two small traditional tavernas and little else. Out of the peak season you will very often be sharing the beach with only one or two others. Many of these near deserted sandy beaches are conservation areas due to their long established turtle breeding grounds.
